Zach is a classically trained guitarist and composer/songwriter from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He spent his early career in various rock bands and acoustic projects, where he also began writing some of his earliest songs. Zach also began experimenting with keyboards and other various instruments, in search of new sounds to match his creativity.

He received a B.M from the University of Toledo, and a M.M. from Carnegie Mellon University where he studied classical guitar performance and music composition. He has been living in Pittsburgh since 2011, where he has been a regular concertizing artist both as a soloist, and in various groups.

Zach has been a member of several bands over the years. Currently, Zach plays lead guitar, sings harmony, and co-writes with the Michael Christopher Band, a country band based in Pittsburgh. He also has worked as a music director for a local church, and teaches both privately and at Carnegie Mellon University. He is also the founder of Creaky Seat Productions and Recording Studio. He has been the head engineer and producer since 2011.

Today, Zach is focused on his own original music. A very diverse blend of music built upon roots in American Jazz, Rock, Western classical and film score music. He also finds inspiration in the music of other cultures, often drawing from Latin American music, Irish and Scottish music, and various other styles.

Zach is available for private and corporate events, weddings, and private lessons. Use the contact page to send him a message directly with your inquiry.
